J. Muise Sealcoating started with a work ethic you can’t teach.
Fresh out of high school in 1999, I worked a full-time paving job by day and seal-coated by nights and weekends. I quickly noticed that my methods left better finishes and longer-lasting results than anything else I saw on the job. Word spread fast, and before long I was running a full-time operation built on honesty, skill, and reputation with results speak for themselves.
I built this business from the ground up, worked 100 hour weeks, raised three kids, and perfected a process that keeps clients coming back again and again. When my son Colin was nine, I began teaching him the craft - the pride and standards that come with doing a job right. Today, we work side by side, delivering the same high-quality craftsmanship that has become our name.
My team and I are fully Liability insured, DOT certified, and interstate approved. I pride myself on being approachable, fair, and easy to work with. Every project is prepared meticulously: debris cleared, edges cut by hand, sealer applied by squeegee, brush or spray, and honest materials that are never thinned out.
